This 3-day wine and cultural tour offers an opportunity to discover different sides of Armenian winemaking — from larger modern producers to family-run and boutique wineries — while also visiting important historical, cultural, and spiritual landmarks of Armenia.
On the first day, we visit Voskevaz and Shunch wineries. Voskevaz combines traditional Armenian winemaking approaches with modern production, and its wines have received international awards over the years.
During the day, we also visit Machanents House, where lunch is planned and guests will taste dishes from traditional Armenian cuisine. We then continue to Holy Etchmiadzin and the Mother See, one of Armenia’s most important spiritual and historical centers.
On the second day, we visit Armenia Wine and Van Ardi wineries. Armenia Wine is one of Armenia’s larger producers with a strong presence in international markets, while Van Ardi is a family-run winery whose wines have received high recognition at international competitions.
Lunch is arranged at Van Ardi, where guests will taste dishes from traditional Armenian cuisine.
After the winery visits, we continue to Saghmosavank, a medieval Armenian monastery located on the edge of the Kasagh Gorge.
On the third day, we visit Jraghatspanyan Winery and Alluria Wines. Both represent a more family-oriented and individual approach to Armenian winemaking and also work with local Armenian grape varieties.
Lunch is arranged at Alluria, where guests will taste dishes from traditional Armenian cuisine.
The cultural stop of the day is Zvartnots Cathedral, one of the notable monuments of medieval Armenian architecture.
Over three days, this tour combines Armenian winemaking, traditional cuisine, historical monuments, spiritual heritage, and the landscapes of different regions of Armenia into one complete wine and cultural journey.
The wine tastings included in the program feature 2 regular wines and 1 reserve wine, while lunches are arranged at the locations specified in the daily program.
The tour starts each day at 09:00 from the guests’ hotel in Yerevan. Return to Yerevan is approximately at 17:00.
