Pink Canyon is located in Armenia’s Ararat Region, on the slopes of the Yeranos Mountains. It is distinguished by its natural layered rock formations, whose colors range from reddish and pink tones to light orange. These distinctive colors are what gave the canyon its name.
During the hike, panoramic views open up toward Mount Ararat, the Yeranos and Geghama Mountains, as well as Azat Reservoir. The narrow, colorful rock sections of Pink Canyon, open hilly landscapes, and surrounding mountains create excellent opportunities for nature and landscape photography.
The route is designed as an easy one-day hike and is also suitable for participants who do not have extensive hiking experience but are prepared for an active day of walking.
