Lake Parz is a small forest lake hidden among the mountains of Dilijan National Park. Its Armenian name means “clear,” and the calm water often reflects the dense forest that surrounds the shoreline.
Unlike many remote mountain lakes, Parz is easy to reach by paved road and has developed as a recreational destination. Visitors can walk along the shore, rent paddle boats or experience a zipline above the water.
The lake is also part of a larger hiking network. Marked trails connect it with Dilijan and Lake Gosh, allowing travelers to experience it either as an easy nature stop or as one point within a longer forest journey.
Autumn is especially photogenic when red, orange and yellow foliage is reflected in the lake. Early morning provides the quietest conditions and the best chance of smooth reflections.
