At 09:00 in the morning, we depart from Yerevan for Voskevaz Winery. Founded in 1932 in the village of Voskevaz, Aragatsotn Province, the winery combines traditional Armenian winemaking methods with modern technologies, with Armenian clay karases playing a special role in its production. We will learn about the history of the winery and Armenian wine culture and take part in a wine tasting.

Shunch / Aratashen Winery is located in the village of Aratashen in Armavir Province, in the Ararat Valley. The winery focuses on Armenian indigenous grape varieties and combines traditional winemaking experience with modern technologies. Here we will discover the winery, learn about its approach to wine production and take part in a wine tasting.

Machanents House is a cultural complex in Etchmiadzin where traditional Armenian cuisine, art, crafts and cultural traditions come together. Here we will taste traditional Armenian dishes and experience the distinctive atmosphere of Machanents House.

At 17:00, we return to Yerevan.

Itinerary

At 09:00 in the morning, we depart from Yerevan for Voskevaz Winery. Here we will learn about the history of the winery, its winemaking environment and the use of traditional Armenian clay karases. During the visit, we will take part in a wine tasting.

We will then continue to Shunch / Aratashen Winery. Here we will discover modern Armenian winemaking approaches, the use of indigenous grape varieties and the winery’s wines, followed by a wine tasting.

Our next stop is Machanents House in Etchmiadzin. We will experience the Armenian cultural atmosphere of the complex and taste traditional Armenian dishes at Machanents House.

At 17:00, we return to Yerevan.

Wine tasting is available only to guests of the legally permitted drinking age. Guests may choose not to taste any of the offered wines while still participating in the other parts of the winery visit.

Yes. Guests may purchase wine or other available products directly from the wineries if they wish. Personal purchases are not included in the tour price.

The tour is organized by advance booking. Departure from Yerevan is scheduled for 09:00, with return at 17:00. Winery visits and wine tastings are arranged in advance according to availability on the selected date. If necessary, the order of visits may be slightly adjusted while maintaining the confirmed main itinerary and included services.

Booking is made by request. The guest submits a booking request, Armenia Photo Club checks availability for the selected date, the wineries and the services included in the program, and then confirms the booking and final price. The tour can be customized according to guest preferences. It is possible to agree in advance on itinerary changes, add or remove stops and services, or create a customized itinerary if required.
