Climbing the Northern Summit of Mount Aragats is a one-day mountain hike intended for experienced and physically fit participants.
The route passes above Gegharot Waterfall toward the crater of Mount Aragats and then continues through the North-Eastern Saddle toward the Northern Summit.
Mountain conditions on Aragats can change quickly. The route, schedule, and possibility of reaching the summit may change depending on weather conditions, trail conditions, the pace of the group, and safety considerations.

Participants Are Recommended to Bring
Hiking backpack — required
Trekking poles — optional

Personal first-aid kit and any necessary medication
Sunglasses
Sun hat or buff
Warm hat for cool or high-altitude conditions
Warm clothing or an additional layer
Headlamp or flashlight
Rain poncho or waterproof jacket
Comfortable sports or hiking clothing that does not restrict movement — required
Sturdy hiking footwear with thick soles suitable for hiking — required
Spare footwear in case the main shoes become wet or muddy, and to avoid bringing dirt into the vehicle
