The program begins at 09:00 on both days.
This 2-day journey combines the urban character of Yerevan with some of Armenia’s most remarkable historical, cultural, and natural landmarks. On the first day, we explore the capital from Mother Armenia Monument and Cascade Complex through central Yerevan, including the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Abovyan Street, Pushkin Street and Art Kvartal, Republic Square, and the historic Kond neighborhood. The day also includes a traditional Armenian lunch and a visit to ARARAT Museum with a brandy tasting.
On the second day, the journey continues beyond Yerevan toward Charents Arch, Garni Temple, Symphony of Stones, and Geghard Monastery. Along the way, guests experience Armenia’s ancient history, medieval heritage, dramatic landscapes, and traditional cuisine. The day concludes with a photo stop at Azat Reservoir before returning to Yerevan.
This tour is designed for travelers who want to experience several different sides of Armenia in a short time — from city life, architecture, and contemporary culture to ancient monuments, religious heritage, local flavors, and distinctive natural scenery.

09:00 — We depart for Mother Armenia Monument.
The Mother Armenia Monument is located within the Victory Park memorial complex and is one of Yerevan’s most recognizable symbols. The 22-meter-high statue was installed in 1967 and symbolizes the strength and protection of the homeland. Beautiful panoramic views of Yerevan open from here, making it our first photo stop.
Cascade Complex is one of Yerevan’s most famous architectural and artistic landmarks. Built from white travertine, the terraced complex combines contemporary art, outdoor sculptures, gardens, and panoramic city views. From Cascade Complex to Republic Square, we continue our sightseeing tour on foot.
The Alexander Spendiaryan Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet is one of Yerevan’s most important cultural institutions. Designed by architect Alexander Tamanyan, its distinctive rounded form has become one of the most recognizable architectural features of central Yerevan.
Abovyan Street is one of the historic streets in central Yerevan, where buildings from different periods and examples of old urban architecture can still be seen. Walking here offers a natural blend of historic Yerevan and the modern capital.
Pushkin Street is part of our walking route through central Yerevan and leads us toward one of the city’s creative urban spaces.
Art Kvartal is a creative environment on Pushkin Street featuring art spaces, gallery and design initiatives. This stop offers an opportunity to discover a more contemporary and creative side of Yerevan.
Republic Square is Yerevan’s central and most recognizable square. Developed as part of Alexander Tamanyan’s urban plan, it is known for its pink tuff buildings and harmonious architectural ensemble.
Kond is one of Yerevan’s oldest historic neighborhoods. Its narrow, uneven, winding streets, old houses, and shared courtyards preserve an urban environment that differs greatly from modern central Yerevan. Walking through Kond offers a chance to experience a more authentic and historic layer of the city.
During the day, we enjoy a traditional Armenian lunch featuring Armenian dishes. It is an opportunity not only to take a break, but also to continue discovering Armenia through its cuisine, flavors, and dining traditions.
ARARAT Museum presents the history of Armenian brandy production and its long-established traditions. The museum tour also includes the ageing-cellar section, where guests learn about the history of ARARAT and the culture of brandy ageing. The visit concludes with a tasting of ARARAT “Three Stars” — 25 ml and ARARAT “Ani” — 25 ml, accompanied by sweets and water.

Charents Arch is a well-known architectural monument and viewpoint dedicated to the renowned Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents. It is especially famous for the beautiful view of Mount Ararat that can be seen from here in clear weather. The combination of Mount Ararat and the surrounding landscape also makes this a beautiful photo stop.
Garni Temple is one of Armenia’s best-known monuments of ancient history and pre-Christian heritage. Built in the 1st century AD, it is distinguished by its Hellenistic architecture and colonnaded design. The temple stands high above the Azat River Gorge, surrounded by a striking natural landscape.
Symphony of Stones is one of Armenia’s remarkable natural monuments, located in the Garni Gorge. Its tall vertical basalt columns resemble the pipes of a giant organ. This natural formation was created through volcanic processes and the gradual cooling of lava and is now considered one of Armenia’s most distinctive geological attractions.
Geghard Monastery is an exceptional example of medieval Armenian architecture. One of its most distinctive features is that the complex includes not only churches built above ground, but also structures carved directly into the natural rock. Geghard Monastery and the Upper Azat Valley are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
During the day, we enjoy a traditional Armenian lunch featuring Armenian dishes. The meal becomes a natural continuation of the day’s cultural experience and offers another opportunity to discover Armenian flavors and culinary traditions.
Azat Reservoir is set in a beautiful mountainous landscape, where the combination of water, open space, and surrounding mountains creates an impressive view. We stop here for photos, to enjoy the scenery, and to conclude our two-day journey before returning to Yerevan.
After the stop at Azat Reservoir, we return to Yerevan.
Yes. When visiting religious sites such as Geghard Monastery, guests should dress respectfully and follow the rules of the individual site. We recommend avoiding overly revealing clothing and carrying a light scarf, shawl, or other covering that can be used temporarily if needed.
Yes, whenever possible. Please inform us in advance about any food allergies, food intolerances, vegetarian or vegan diets, or other special dietary requirements. We will notify the restaurant in advance and request a suitable option, subject to availability at the specific location.
The tour can be suitable for families with children, but both days include several consecutive visits and walking sections. Parents should consider the child’s age, walking ability, and comfort with participating in a full day of sightseeing.
This depends on the guest’s individual mobility. Kond, the Symphony of Stones area, and some historic sites may include stairs, uneven surfaces, or walking sections. If you have limited mobility, please inform us in advance so that we can assess whether the itinerary is suitable for you.
This is not a strenuous hiking tour, but both days involve regular walking through urban, historic, and natural areas. Comfortable walking shoes are especially important for the walking tour in central Yerevan, Kond, and the Symphony of Stones area.

The tour is available year-round. The program begins at 09:00 on both days. A walking tour through central Yerevan is planned from Cascade Complex to Republic Square. Visibility of Mount Ararat from Charents Arch depends on weather conditions. The ARARAT Museum Standard Package includes an alcoholic tasting. Alcohol tasting is not available to minors.
